EHS Manager – Ethanol Production

About the Role:
We’re hiring an experienced EHS Manager to lead all environmental, health, and safety efforts at a high-performing ethanol production facility in Nebraska. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands industrial safety and wants to make a real impact in operations, compliance, and culture.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage site-wide EHS programs, policies, and compliance efforts
• Lead audits, inspections, and training to ensure OSHA, EPA, and state/local compliance
• Oversee reporting (air, water, waste), permitting, and regulatory communications
• Develop and maintain PSM/RMP programs
• Partner with operations and maintenance teams on hazard identification and risk reduction
• Serve as the point of contact for safety investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead employee safety engagement, including toolbox talks, trainings, and culture-building efforts

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, ideally in ethanol, chemicals, or heavy industry
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations
• Experience with PSM and RMP required
• Proven ability to lead programs and influence culture
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• CSP or CHMM a plus
• Prior experience in ethanol or biofuels preferred
